Vienna's Starter Editions offer large-scale orchestra packages and much more in resource-saving, affordable products. All sounds work perfectly in a variety of musical styles, from pop and rock environments to mysterious soundscapes and to large symphonic arrangements. Included in the Starter Edition category are the VI Special Editions, the SYNCHRON-ized Special Editions, the Vienna Smart Series, and the Big Bang Orchestra.
Special Editions: Extensive, Flexible & Modular
Vienna's popular Special Editions come two ways: The VI Special Editions (formerly Vienna Special Editions) are powered by the Vienna Instruments and Vienna Instruments Pro sample players. The SYNCHRON-ized Special Editions offer a re-edited, improved and expanded sample database of the VI Special Editions, powered by the newer Vienna Synchron Player.
You may select from seven VOLUMES and two PLUS VOLUMES with additional articulations, our you can buy them altogether at a reduced bundle price. If someone expands their Special Edition libraries with Single Instruments or upgrades to the large Collections, they’ll always be eligible for upgrade discounts. These are also called "complementary discounts".

Big Bang Orchestra (BBO)
Vienna recorded their entire Synchron Stage Orchestra playing together, all at once (also known as "tutti"), with multiple microphones. Create large orchestrations in no time. Beef up your existing tracks by adding some massive tutti layers. Inject some inspiration into your composing process just by pressing a few notes and letting the huge sound work its magic. The first tier of the Big Bang Orchestra is a free library, however users can expand it greatly with additional packs available for sale.
Each expansion pack for the Big Bang Orchestra series has a unique focus. For example, BBO: Black Eye focuses on phrases and FX, while BBO: Capricorn specializes in symphonic riffs. If a user is looking for general "tutti" sounds, BBO: Andromeda contains essential, basic articulations.
